APPLICATION GUIDE
Before you start
Clean the surface thoroughly and ensure it is free from dust, grease and wax.
Apply decals at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
Make sure you have the necessary equipment for installation:
Squeegee
Spray bottle
Application solution or water + a tiny drop of mild soap
Microfiber cloth
Sharp utility knife
Heat gun or hair dryer for curves and edges
Regular Colours
Wet application (recommended): Lightly mist the surface with application solution or water with a tiny drop of mild soap. Position the decal, then use a squeegee to push out all water and air bubbles.
Dry application: Apply the decal directly to the clean, dry surface. Position carefully before firmly pressing the vinyl down with a squeegee. Work gradually from one section to the next to avoid bubbles or creases.
When layering decals, allow the bottom layer to dry and bond properly before applying the next layer. We recommend waiting at least 30–60 minutes, or longer in cooler or humid conditions.
Premium Colours
Wet application: Lightly mist the surface with application solution or water with a tiny drop of mild soap. Position the decal, then use a squeegee to push out all water and air bubbles.
Dry application: Apply directly to the clean, dry surface. Work slowly, pressing the decal down with a squeegee.
When layering decals, allow the bottom layer to dry and bond properly before applying the next layer. We recommend waiting at least 30–60 minutes, or longer in cooler or humid conditions.
Chrome Colours
Dry application only. Do not use water or application solution, as this may affect adhesion. Apply directly to a clean, dry surface and smooth out carefully with a squeegee.
Finishing Touches
Slowly peel away the transfer tape at a low angle.
Press down any edges firmly.
Allow the adhesive to bond properly before washing the vehicle.
Avoid washing the vehicle or exposing the decal to heavy moisture immediately after installation.
IMPORTANT — INSTALLATION WARNING
DRIFTIQUES is not responsible for air bubbles, creases, lifting, incorrect application or damage caused during installation. Please take your time and follow the installation instructions carefully. If you are unsure about installing the decal yourself, we recommend having it professionally installed.
Tip: Take your time during installation for the best results. Incorrect application may cause bubbles, lifting or reduced adhesion.
